Stonington Motel is located near a beautiful cove, leading out into a beautiful waterway. Here, you can open your eyes and ears to the many sights and sounds of birds, swans, ducks, and other various wildlife. For your enjoyment and relaxation, you can rent a kayak or paddle boat to explore the beautiful shoreline and scenery. Nearby is Barn Island, which has walking trails, bird watching, sights and a public boat ramp for boating and fishing.

Stonington Motel is a family-run business. We have 13 rooms. Rooms with queen beds, 2 double beds and rooms with 1 double bed. All rooms are non-smoking rooms. (Smoking is permitted outside on the deck). Dogs are welcome with prior approval at a cost of $20 per night.

BOAT PARKING AVAILABLE - SPACE IS LIMITES - SO CALL PRIOR TO BE AUTHORIZED.

Directions
 
  • From Mystic Seaport: Take RT. 27 South to RT. 1. Turn Left. We are 4 1/2 miles east on the left side of RT. 1.
  • 95 south, take exit 91, bottom of ramp take left, go through light and take 3rd left on to Main St (sign also says To RTE 1).  Follow road to the end, at light take left (now on RTE 1), go down about 2 miles, motel is on left side
  • 95 North, take exit 91, bottom of ramp take RT, about 1/4 mile turn left onto Main Street (sign also says To RTE 1).  Follow Road to the end, at light take left on to RTE 1, go down about 2 miles, motel is on the left side
